Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder. It can be caused by infection, drugs or chemicals and other factors that irritate the lining of the bladder wall. Hematuria is defined as blood in urine. If you have hematuria, it’s important to see a doctor right away because it could signal serious health problems such as kidney stones or cancerous growths on your kidneys (nephrolithiasis).
